Exercise 5: opinion. Answer the following questions considering your own point of view.  

1. Having read the previous texts. What do you think can be the effects of globalization in Chile? Mention 2.  


a. They can take advantage of globalization to enter new markets or offer their products to different countries. 

b. They must take care of their local businesses so that they are not invaded by multinational companies. 

2. Do you think globalization is a reversible process? Yes, No? Justify your answer.  

It is not a reversible process because it is about evolution and change that must still happen. However, we can make its effects positive for us.

    I like your first answer to question 1 because Chile does not necessarily have to be invaded with foreign products, because they can also take advantage of the benefits of globalization to create a successful product internationally.

    I also think that globalization is an irreversible phenomenon, because we have adapted our lives to it so much that taking it away would cause us many social, political, economic, and cultural problems

    I agree with you, globalization was just the next step as in a economic and social evolution so reversing it would be going backwards, also it wouldn't be possible because we're dependent on it
